In these modern times we live in, we can now get stories bound as books pretty easily, which is great! This also means that a while back some of you started getting my fics bound as books. I gave this my consent but was not directly involved with it myself. In fact, I kind of wanted to stay out of it. However, it now has gotten to the point where I feel that the fics-turning-into-books should be regulated somewhat, and so that’s what we’ll do!
UPDATE, April 2013: If you're reading this, then the books are still a go. Quite a few seem worried that they've missed out, but while this writing journal is inactive, the books remain available.

But before we go any further, I’d like to say that my stories are online for absolutely no cost! And love for a story isn’t measured in money. Not everyone can afford this, and you know what, I totally get that – I couldn’t afford this either! So for those of you who wish you could get a book bound but can’t, then hey, chin up, kid! 2. How can I access the above websites to order a copy?
You must request the direct URL from BN Inc. This is the only way to gain access to the books (but I provided screen caps so that those who just want to take a look may do so). Please do not pass on the URL to anyone. I am trusting you here, so don’t be an asshole. Thanks.
3. How do I request a URL?
You can submit a URL request directly to the Publishing Manager and Distribution Officer of BN Inc., Sarah, by emailing us at beggarsnotes@gmail.com. Please write in "Request" as the email subject line and specify which stories and in what form (hard cover/paperback) you want the URLs for! We will then email you the appropriate URLs.
4. What happens after I've requested a URL?
You should then receive your URLs via email within 24 hours. If you do not, give it another 24 hours. If you still have not received anything but feel like you have been forgotten, then you may pester me personally in whatever way you see fit. And once you have your URL, just follow the website's instructions on buying and delivery after reading this disclaimer:
DISCLAIMER: These book versions have been edited and re-edited and re-edited. You will find mistakes in them. There might be typos, fucked up page numbers, etc. I apologise! I have tried really hard to make them as perfect as I can! You might find two scenes stuck together with no empty space in between. Please inform me of any such mistakes so that I can fix it for future reference. Your copy will be flawed somehow, but hey, maybe it can be that endearing typo on page 43, right? After all, this is not professional work and the book you buy has not been professionally edited. And by reading this, you acknowledge yourself to be aware of this. There are different websites you can use to self-publish stories, e.g. lulu.com. All of my work is, by law, automatically my copyright. If you choose to self-publish my work, you are agreeing to publish it for your own personal use with my consent and under no circumstance is my work to be sold or altered in any way. Capisce? Okay.
1. How does self-publishing work?
You can request a bookified .doc file. And once you have the file, you can edit the format (but not the content) as you wish and get it bound with your own cover art etc.! This also applies to Kindle people!

3. I have a Kindle - what do I do?
There are free software and relatively easy ways of changing a .doc file into a Kindle file, and so, if you want a story on your Kindle, feel free to kindlify a .doc file yourself but do not share this with others. Do not ask me how to kindlify files - you have a Kindle, I don't. You figure it out!
4. How do I get a bookified .doc file?

I'd love to see pictures of any books you might get bound. :) You can check out our gallery to see other people's copies! (If it's on your Kindle, well... you can still take a picture of story on Kindle screen + a famous landmark in the background! Yay!)
8. Donate
If you get a book of mine bound, you’re already putting money into it. If you're putting a story on your Kindle, you aren't paying for it at all! Either way, I do not get paid or financially gain anything from this. (If I got paid for writing slash, I’d be a rich woman by now!) I do ask, however, that if you have liked a story enough to get it bound as a book or to put it on your Kindle, that you then donate a sum of your choice to one of the charities I support! :) Consider it as my reward for the days I've put into the writing process!
